A Shelby, North Carolina native, Scott earned admission to the Florida Bar in 1988 and went on to practice with large law firms in Orlando, FL for 20 years. In January 2010, he opened Law Offices of Scott W. Spradley in Flagler Beach, FL. Today, he serves clients throughout Northeast Florida, focusing on matters including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy for individuals, Chapter 11 bankruptcy for businesses, and general litigation. Scott is admitted to practice in all of Florida’s state and federal courts, including each bankruptcy court in the state. In 2023, Scott was elected to serve as a City Commissioner for the City of Flagler Beach. In 2024, he was voted chair of the Flagler Beach City Commission.
